I was scared. We spent so much time together and I felt smothered, so I took to avoiding Derek. I went to a bar and was dancing with someone, he thought I was kissing the guy, butted in, I got pissed and we didn’t speak for 48 hours.

This is one of those things Derek doesn’t know. It was in Paris. The night before I met Julian. The guy I was going to sleep with was….. less than considerate. Anyway before we were even undressed, he had my hands pinned and I hated feeling like I had no power in the situation. He wouldn’t let go and was drooling all over my neck, I told him to let go again and he ignored me. I ended up kicking him and he was forced to let go. I left. Never had to deal with him again.

Sebastian is generally mature enough to be his own age. Sometimes he seems like an old man when he’s being particularly wise. And sometimes when he’s being really silly or with Amanda, he stoops down to her level (although she’s pretty mature for her age too).
